Vandaag is de phpBB site terug online gegaan. De website was een kleine week offline door zogezegde technische problemen. Gistere in de vroege avond verscheen er een countdown op de index van www.phpbb.com met daar vermeld: "countdown to WATH?" Het bleek dus de nieuwe phpBB website te zijn.

Wat betekent dit juist:

- Het nieuwe thema is officieel bekend gemaakt (proSilver)

- phpBB.com draait nu op phpBB3

- het hele webiste systeem is vernieuwd (bug tracker, download database, ...)

Dit betekent ook dat de release van phpBB3 RC1 niet ver weg meer is.

Dat zij de hoofd developer Acyd Burn in een nieuws post op de nieuwe site. Dit betekent dus dat phpBB3 bijna helemaal klaar is. Maar er moeten dus nog dingen gedaan worden als de documentatie, taal pakketen, en de laatste bugs in de software. (De laatste bugs die bekend zijn dan toch)

    Mooie update van phpBB.com, ik wacht met smart op de release. :)

    De documentatie kwa handleiding is voor het meeste af op phpBB3,

    Alleen zoals ik het zie zijn ze nog de MODs , Style database werkend aan het stellen.

    Maar voor de rest is de stijl mooi en de website er in tegen ook.

    Er is wel al de admin stijl uitgebracht, zit bijeen gesloten in de cvs versie , voor een voorproefje kan je dat Hier terug vinden.

    Met natuurlijk de printscreens als voorbeeld ;)

    Maar mocht je nou zelf phpBB3 willen testen waar nu phpBB.com op draait kan je het volledig nederlands doen met het Nederlands taalpakket van phpBB3

    Kleine note ook, de stijl subSIlver zal ook gewoon beschikbaar zijn, het is niet zo dat alleen de nieuwe stijl wordt bijeen gesloten, maar ook de Subsilver2 stijl :dans: :dans:

    Zou zeggen test phpBB3 eens, wie weet gaat dit forum ook op phpBB3 draaien :sigaar:

    Je weet niet wat je mist phpBB3 heeft vele leuke en mooie opties neem aan dat die hier al bekend zijn :puh:

    Waarom zouden mensen een on-officieel taalpakket gaan testen? Het officieele taalbaket wordt gemaakt door: LGoosens en voor zover ik weet heeft jouw site daar niets mee te maken Raimon. (En is dit ook pure spam...)

    Aan de documentatie is trouwens ook nog wat werk hoor, ze moeten nog een paar puntjes schrijven maar alle screenshots moeten ook nog vernieuwd worden omwille van de nieuwe "default" style.

    In iedergeval mijn gok op de RC1 blijft 1 april. :engel:
