Robert Kubica keert tijdens de Grand Prix van Frankrijk terug achter het stuur van de tweede BMW Sauber. De Pool crashte zwaar in Canada en kwam voor de GP van Amerika niet door de medische keuring heen. Nu hebben de medici groen licht gegeven voor de coureur, waardoor hij vrijdag weer de baan op kan. Kubica kan niet wachten om weer in de auto te stappen en is verheugd dat hij in Frankrijk gewoon van de partij kan zijn. Hiermee keert zijn vervanger Vettel weer terug op de reservebank.
