Project Frankfurt

Greetings everbody,

those of you who follows the German GTA-Scene would probably have heard about the “Project Frankfurt” for GTA: Vice City. What has started on the 22 July 2002 as a little mod, adding few skyscrapers and cars into GTA3, has became the greatest WIP-Mod from Germany. Now our group, consisting of 15 idealists, are working on one aim:

We want to make a whole new game, based on the GTA: VC-Engine, adding one the most vibrating cities in Europe: Frankfurt am Main!

A complete new city will be created, almost everything of Frankfurt will be in the game, incl. the banker are with it’s huge skyscrapers, the big airport, the most important centre of European air traffic and other landmarks of “Mainhattan” which is sometimes called because of the river Main!

Thats not 100% right. It's an unofficial version of gta. But i don't know of it is great...

What do you mean with "change the way"? Of course we can't change everthing, but it will be something else than VC. It is a new city with new cars, buildings, people, gangs and of course a whole new story with new characters, villians, locations and other freaks! Nothing will remind you of VC anymore and, even more important, we try to build in new features!

1. Sorry, that's top secret! Ah no, just kidding. We're using the same tools like zModdler etc.

2. Of course, it's a European city with European cars! So there'll be cars such as like VW, Mercedes, BMW etc.

3. Like I said before we'll change almost everything, that includes radio stations as well. So we're going to put the real local radio stations of the town including some self-made by our own e.g. a Call-In-Show by me (we need more lunatics!)

4. Well, first of all, we planned to realease it in German. But there'll English subtitels included. But may be you can help us with th translation and voice recording!
