Grand Theft Auto III: 10 Year Anniversary Edition, de GTA III port voor diverse telefoons en tablets is vanaf volgende week beschikbaar. Vanaf 15 december is de Anniversary Edition te downloaden in de App Store en Android Marketplace voor een bedrag van $4.99. Tevens is de volledige lijst van telefoons en tablets die de game kunnen draaien bekend gemaakt.

  • Apple iOS: iPad 1 en 2, iPhone 4 en 4S, iPod touch 4th Generation
  • Android (telefoons): HTC Rezound, LG Optimus 2x, Motorola Atrix 4G, Motorola Droid X2, Motorola Photon 4G, Samsung Galaxy R, T-Mobile G2x
  • Android (tablets): Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 en 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Toshiba Thrive


Samen met de release zal er ook een nieuwe trailer beschikbaar komen.

    A5 chip van Apple blijkt hogere graphics veel beter aan te kunnen dan de A4 chip (iPhone 4, iPod touch (4e generatie) en iPad), dus het lijkt me wel dat er inderdaad een groot grafisch voordeel bij de iPhone 4S en iPad 2 is. :puh:

    Volgensmij ging het bij GTA III Anniversary edition om een complete port van de GTA III PC game.

    Oftewel zal er geen verschil zijn in graphics op de verschillende telefoons en tablets.

    Of dat is tenminste wat ik had gehoord.

    Dat lijstje vind ik wel apart. Voor Android toestellen staan voornamelijk alleen maar mobiels die je in de VS kan krijgen (zonder import). Veel Europese modellen met dezelfde specs staat gewoon niet op het lijstje (zie verscheidende high-end Samsungs, HTC's en Sony's). Ik denk en vooral hoop ook dat deze lijst wordt uitgebreid. Ik ben over een paar dagen namelijk bezitter van een HTC Sensation XE en zou het echt heel vreemd vinden wanneer die het niet kan draaien, maar een iPhone 4 of iPod Touch wel terwijl de Sensation niet kan, raar.
