Probleem met FireFox

Ik heb een probleem met FireFox.

Ik moest een keer een nieuw profiel aanmaken om te kunnen internetten.

Ik moest een map kiezen waar alles in komt te staan, zoals je cookies enz.

Ik dacht dat dat was waar je downloads kwamen te staan, dus ik had dat op het bureaublad gedaan, maar dat is niet goed.

Al die dingen komen dan op mijn bureaublad te staan en dat wil ik niet. Als ik een map maak en daar alles in doe, komt het gewoon opnieuw op mijn bureaublad te staan.

Wat kan ik hier tegen doen?

BTW: Ik heb de FAQ al gelezen..

    typ in firefox in de adresbalk about:config als het kan veranderen staat het daarbij ;)

    Al geprobeerd, maar hij ging steeds weer op bureaublad!

    Ik heb hem ook al opnieuw geïnstalleerd.
