Audio aanpassen video

Ik heb gisteren met m'n telefoon Samsung Wave een paar filmpjes gemaakt, maar daarin is de bass zo hoog dat je weinig van de rest hoort. Is het mogelijk om deze op een of andere manier te onderdrukken of om de andere tonen meer naar voren te laten komen?

Ik heb het al geprobeerd met Windows Movie Maker maar daar kan ik ze niet eens in importeren (omdat het MP4 bestanden zijn).

Converteren heb ik eigenlijk liever niet, omdat dan meestal de kwaliteit achteruit gaat en de filmpjes zijn aardig groot (~200 MB per stuk en het zijn er 22).

Verder heb ik geprobeerd met een programmaatje om van een .mp4 container naar een .avi container te gaan maar dat heeft ook niet gewerkt.
