Palmer-Taylor Power Plant

In het oosten van de map, net naast het windmolenpark, is de Palmer-Taylor Power Plant te vinden.

De naam van deze krachtcentrale is een verwijzing naar een superband uit de jaren '80, Power Station genaamd. De groep bestond onder andere uit zanger Robert Palmer en de broertjes Taylor, die daarvoor bij de bekende band Duran Duran speelden.

Hadden die drie op zichzelf nog niet voor genoeg naambekendheid voor de band gezorgd, dan deed hun hit Some Like It Hot dat wel.

De naam is een duidelijke verwijzing naar Palmer en de broertjes Taylor, en bovendien is het ook een power plant of een Power Station. Ik kwam de verwijzing tegen toen ik luisterde naar Power Station en wat meer informatie opzocht.

    Als ik op de Snapmap klik dan zie ik alleen de map, en geen stipjes. Is er iets mis gegaan? :puh:
