Vraagje

Misschien is het een beetje een dom vraagje en moet ik het hier niet posten maar de vraagis:

Wat is eigenlijk een engine ik weet dat ze een andere aan het maken zijn maar wat is nou precies een engine???

    Een engine is het belangrijkste gedeelte van een spel, zeg maar de motor (vandaar engine). Het verzorgt alle technologieen binnen het spel en zorgt voor het juiste platform (Windows bijvoorbeeld), voor de rendering (die zorgt voor 2D of 3D graphics), en geluid, animatie, AI (intelligentie van de computertegenstanders) etc....
