Iets laten glimmen

Ey ik werk met sketchup maar ik heb al eens eerder gevraagd hoe je een soort 'bewegend glimeffect' moet maken, en als antwoord kreeg ik dat je dat in 3dsMax moet doen. Probleem: ik heb weinig ervaring met 3dsMax en gebruik het alleen om de models naar SanAndreas te krijgen. Kan iemand mij uitleggen hoe ik iets moet laten glimmen? Voorbeeld: als je een auto ingame zet zie je (als hij rood is) 1 blok rood, maar als je er iets glim in zet dan zie je ook randen lopen enzo. Hoe moet je dat glimmen in 3dsMax maken?
