Op Gta forums staat een heel verhaal over de RAGE engine. De informatie komt uit PSM.

Rage will only be used for the xbox 360 version!

Anyone who knows me, you know I don't post BS I was reading Independant PSM today, and in their 2007 Sony Preview section, they had a little 1&1/2 inch by 3 inch gta4 section. It read loosly (read - not these exact words):

A Charactor (who most likely will be doing criminal things in an open world" (guess that part was a funny they made about how we know jack sh*t so far?

And this was also said, which is the reason for the topic

"The game will use the Table Tennis Engine (X360 ONLY)"

I dont even have an xbox and never have, and I am admittedly a sony fan boy and one of the companies personal bitches... So you know I wouldnt say that for nothing...

I'm loking for speculation... What do you guys think this means? MY guess???

Well....

I saw in someone's sig that Houser said that the PS3 will make interactive entertainment, finally, the number one art medium. What does that mean to me? It helps me protect my sonygo (sony ego)

Because the only possible explaination is that R* plans to build the game on xbox and use its assets on an improved engine for PS3, as opposed to a sh*tty ps3 version, I think PS3 will outshine this game on xbox. Makes sense... The game has been developed on for YEARS prior to even SA's release, and xbox is MUCh easier to make the transition from PC Development To Console than it is for PS3, so, build the game there while someone else builds up the PS3 engine...

WHO you say? PROBABLY LEEDS! DexX told me that the GTA PSP releases were done using RAGE. Put two and two together.

I may be wrong, and I sure as hell am sloppy today (sorry if I hurt your brain, I worked hard and early today after a late night ), so let me hear what you guys take of this

Het komt er op neer dat RAGE niet voor de PS3 gebruikt zal worden. Dat betekend dat er voor de PS3 een andere (betere) engine komt met waarschijnlijk ook meer mogelijkheden. Dit is mischien ook wel de rede dat GTA IV bij sommige winkels een hogere prijs voor de ps3 heeft. Dit stond er in:

Ik hoop echt dat dit waar is, want ik wil een ps3 gaan kopen.

ow ik hoop zo dat de ps3 een betere engine krijgt, die echt helemaal is gemaakt voor de ps3, dat zou gewelig zijn voor de ps3fanman's zoals ik ;)

Ze bedoelen gewoon dat Table Tennis alleen voor de Xbox 360 is. Ze gaan heus niet 2 aparte engines maken.

Het lijkt me stug dat alleen de Xbox 360 de RAGE engine krijgt. Als ze met twee engines werken, worden het twee veschillende spellen. Waarvoor hebben ze die RAGE nou ontwikkelt? Niet om alleen GTA4 op de Xbox 360 mee te maken, samen met TableTennis waar niemand zich voor interesseert. Als Rockstar inderdaad alleen de RAGE voor de Xbox 360 gaat gebruiken, zal GTAGames dit wel te horen krijgen. En het staat nog niet bij nieuws. Dus dit lijkt me gewoon verzonnen of verkeerd begrepen door de maker

Dit lijkt me stug maar ik hoop het wel!

Ikzelf vind SONY beter dan microsoft(qua gameconsole's)

Ik ga zoiezo een PS3 kopen dus ik hoop het.
