When Bond needed to take a closer look at the volcanos in the remote areas of Japan, he had Tiger Tanaka call and request the Little Nellie be brought accompanied by her father. Q flew to Japan with two assistants and the four suitcases containing Little Nellie. The team assembled the chopper and briefed 007, who took off to the islands. On his return Bond encountered a squadron of SPECTRE attack helicopters, Bond used Little Nellie's weaponry to blow his pursuers to pieces.
