Van ps3 naar denon AVR-1604

Ik heb hier een denon AVR-1604 staan met twee hele grote boxen erop aangesloten en een ps3 erboven. Ik wil nu dus als ik game dat ik het geluid door die boxen hoor. Ik las in het boekje van de ps3 dat dit mogelijk is met een 'optische kabel voor audio'. Nu vroeg ik me af is de denon AVR-1604 geschikt om deze op die manier te verbinden met de ps3 en welke kabel heb ik daar voornodig en moet ik dan ook altijd als ik aan het gamen ben de denon AVR-1604 aan hebben staan?
