    Vaak staat in de Readme van de mod precies beschreven hoe je hem moet installeren. Programmaatjes die hier veel voor gebruikt worden zijn:
    • SAMI
      Met de San Andreas Mod Installer worden vaak mods geïnstalleerd, met behulp van een speciale file die dan bij de download van de mod zit.
    • IMG Tool
      Deze IMG Tool wordt ook vaak gebruikt, maar dan om de mod helemaal 'met de hand te installeren.
