Wie zijn foto’s op een professionele manier wil bewerken, kan haast niet om Adobe Photoshop heen. Helaas kost dit programma bakken vol geld. Gelukkig is er nu een (legale) gratis manier om een beetje te ‘photoshoppen’: Adobes nieuwe online dienst Photoshop Express.

Photoshop Express bouwt voort op het succes van Photoshop Elements, de goedkopere en gestroomlijnde versie van de bewerkingssoftware. Door gratis een account aan te maken kunnen internetters gratis hun foto’s online bewerken en opslaan. Ieder account krijgt 2GB aan eigen online opslagruimte, wat niet mis is.

De bewerkingsmogelijkheden gaan natuurijk lang niet zo ver als bij het volwaardige Photoshop-pakket. Wel hebben gebruikers onder meer toegang tot rode-ogenreductie, de kleurinstellingen en is er de mogelijkheid om foto’s bij te snijden en het formaat aan te passen.     Leuk nieuws, al denk ik niet dat de online versie zo goed is als de echte, anders zou niemand meer Photoshop kopen. Hopelijk is het toch nog een leuke aanwinst voor de mensen zonder Photoshop, want dan kan het zeker een groot succes gaan worden :)
