hallo, ik heb nu een website op freehostia.

nu als ik naar mijn web site ga krijg ik de index. website: timothyw.freehostia.com

    Je moet een bestand index.htm, index.html, index.php of iets in die richting maken. Dan zal de pagina automatisch geopend worden. Let erop dat je niet Index.html (dus met een hoofdletter) aanmaakt, want dat wil ook niet altijd goed werken. Succes! :)

    de index is een folder in mijn browser bij bestandsbeheer, je kunt hem niet bewerken.

    Dat Index of / wordt weergeven, omdat je geen beginpagina hebt. Ik neem aan dat je start.html als beginpagina wilt? Zo ja, wijzig de naam daarvan in index.html. Als het goed is, werkt het dan wel. Succes! :)
