Ik heb nog een pctje staan met XP, en het leek me leuk, om eens linux erop te zetten.

Wie kan me hiermee helpen?

    ik heb dit ook eens gedaan. Ik had het Via windows geinstalleerd. Het word automatisch gedualboot dan. Je kan het beste Linux Ubuntu nemen en dan via windows installeren. Denk er wel om: Als je via windows installeerd en windows sluit een keer verkeerd af (bijv. je moet je pc resetten omdat hij is vastgelopen) doet linux het ook niet meer, je moet dan windows eerst weer opstarten en weer goed afsluiten.

    En voor je begint: besef dat linux heel anders is dan windows....het zal in het begin (maar later ook nog wel) even wennen zijn, had ik ook :puh:

    Ik heb nog een oude pc met XP staan. daarop ga ik Linux zetten. Maar, ik start gewoon vanaf CD, install, enzovoort

    Heb ik ook gedaan met een oude pc. Daar heb ik Fedora opgezet en sindsdien is het me niet meer gelukt om XP te installeren. Dus ik zal wel uitkijken.

    Dat vind ik vreemd. Als windows weigerd formateer je toch gewoon de harde schijf waarop linux staat? Of weigertie stomweg te booten vanaf de cdrom?

    Hij loopt elke keer vast met installeren. Waar het precies aan ligt weet ik niet maar het boeit ook niet. Ik gebruik dat ding toch nooit meer.
