Zou MIDI-Keyboard zo werken?

Ik heb hier een MIDI-keyboard staan, en die wou ik graag op mijn pc aansluiten.

Ik heb hiervoor een verloop kabel van midi naar gameport besteld.

Alleen het probleem is, ik ben de adapter van mijn keyboard kwijt.

Ik heb ergens gelezen dat de gameport 5 volt stroom geeft.

Maar mijn keyboard heeft 9 volt nodig.

Zou het zo wel werken? of moet ik een nieuwe adapter kopen?

    Ik heb de kabel jammer genoeg nog niet binnen, maar zodra ik hem heb ga ik het natuurlijk wel proberen.

    Maar zou dat in principe werken; iets wat 9v nodig heeft dat loopt op 5v?
