Rockstar Games heeft laten weten dat de GTA-game op PSP dit jaar nog zal uitkomen, zowel in Amerika als in Europa iets na de release van de PSP hier op 1 september 2005. De game is GTA: Liberty City Stories gedoopt. De game speelt zich dan ook af in Liberty City, de stad die je ook al aandeed in GTA3. De game zal aan een select publiek en 'behind closed doors' getoond worden op de E³.
