De E3

"De Electronic Entertainment Expo, beter bekend als de E3, is een jaarlijkse vakbeurs voor de computer en video games industrie om de nieuwste ontwikkelingen te presenteren. De beurs is alleen toegankelijk voor professionals uit de industrie, journalisten, en speciaal uitgenodigde gasten. Sinds 2007, is de E3 alleen nog maar te bezoeken met een uitnodiging, in tegenstelling tot voorgaande jaren. Het concept van de E3 is veranderd om een betere (zakelijke) sfeer te creëren, iets wat voorgaande jaren niet lukte volgens de industrie, vanwege de enorme toestroom van bezoekers. Waar eerst zo'n 60 000 bezoekers naar de beurs kwamen, worden dit jaar er ongeveer 5000 verwacht. De verschillende uitgevers komen met de laatste nieuwe games, betaversies van games die nog in ontwikkeling zijn. Nieuwe consoles worden er voorgesteld zoals dat gebeurde bij de PS3, PSP, Nintendo Wii en de Xbox 360. Ook worden sinds 1998 elk jaar de "Game Critics Awards" uitgereikt aan de "Best of E3" games in verscheidene categorieën." WikiGTA

Gisteren echt superveel nieuwe games, maar het leukste vond ik Modern Warfare 2, ook vond ik die no controller motion control wel vet...jullie mening? Vanavond Sony Wantja, ik heb geen Xbox...

Ik vond dat Microsoft een erg goede persconferentie had. De game die het meeste indruk op mij achter gelaten heeft is toch wel Splinter Cell: Conviction. Man wat ziet die game er tof uit . Ook Modern Warfare 2 zag er echt vet uit.

Daarnaast vond ik project Natal erg indrukwekkend, als dit echt goed werkt (zoals je eigenlijk al kon zien) heeft Microsoft hier echt een troef in handen waarmee ze de PS3 én de Wii een flinke klap kunnen geven. Ik hoop voor Sony dat ze vanavond niet met een Motion Controller komen want dat zal toch redelijk een lachertje zijn na Project Natal.

Thnx, van sony. Die had net een persconferentie gehouden! Te vet! Ik wordt gek, ik ga hem morgen nog een keer kijken Ik dacht dat dit nooit beter zou worden dan die van Microsoft, maar sony flikt het weer!

wat is dit precies voor game?

@Kenny-Petrovic: Daar is nog vrij weinig over bekend, mss horen we meer later deze E3 en anders afwachten. Gerucht gaat dat het L.A. Noire is maar dan met een andere naam we zullen zien.

Persoonlijk vond ik de presentatie van Sony een beetje tegenvallen. Ze moesten natuurlijk met heel wat komen na de ijzersterke presentatie van Microsoft en persoonlijk denk ik dat ze het op zijn max evenaard hebben, iig niet overtroffen. Toegegeven er waren vette games: uncharted 2, MAG, God Of War 3, Modnation Racers, Assassins Creed 2 etc. Maar de hardware viel tegen.

Veel slap gelul en weinig gezien, goed de nieuwe PSP ziet er leuk uit maar of het een succes gaat worden? wel goed dat ze hem "naast" de huidige PSP zetten en hem niet als opvolger neerzetten. Zo houden ze een breder publiek. En wat de motion controller betreft, laat ze eerst maar zorgen dat de developpers hem willen, want net als de SIXAXIS moet deze niet ook totaal geminacht worden.

Al met al gematigd positief

Van nintendo vond ik eigenlijk alleen de nieuwe Super Mario Galaxy interessant, voor de rest veel te veel fantasy en casual, niet echt mijn ding.

Ik vond hem ook tegen vallen die van Sony, veel slap gelul en bijna alle release 2010. Terwijl als je naar Microsoft kijkt.. "This Summer" en "End of this year".

Voordat de persconferentie begon zat ik ineen groeps gesprek en zei ik dat ik hoopte dat Rockstar nog even bij Sony kwam en inderdaad het gebeurde ook nog. Hopelijk zal Agent een toffe game worden.

@ Ikkes: Qua hardware viel het inderdaad tegen. Jammer genoeg was de PSP al uitgelekt waardoor het WAUW-effect weg bleef. Motion Sensor controller vond ik wel een leuke nieuwe vernieuwing, maar nog in een té vroeg stadium. Alleen vraag ik me af of Natal project goed zal werken, dit lijkt me namelijk uiteindelijk beter werken met games.

Qua games vond ik Sony echt de beste: GOWII, Assasins Creed 2, MAG, GT5, Agent (exclusive) e.d.

Alleen van 1 ding baal ik echt op deze beurs en dat is dat Splinter Cell Conviction XBOX exclusive is. Dat wordt namelijk zo'n toffe game, maarja Microsoft koopt tegenwoordig alles. Straks wordt heel Ubisoft eigendom van Microsoft en zijn we Assasins Creed ook kwijt...
