Bridgestone heeft besloten om ook de 'extreme wets' te voorzien van witte markering. Dit is om onderscheid te maken tussen de gewone regenbanden en deze extreme regenbanden. In overleg met de teams en de FIA heeft Bridgestone daartoe besloten. Deze markering zal net als bij de zachte droogweerbanden uit een witte streep bestaan, maar op welke groef is niet bekend.
