-R-R- Geplaatst: 19 juni 2005 Rapport Geplaatst: 19 juni 2005 Ik kijk uit naar de Xbox 360. Ik ben een groote Xbox fan en ik weet er alles van. Om deze topic up-to-date te maken, aanschouw hier alle Xbox 360 games: 2 Days to VegasPublisher: TBD Developer: Steel Monkeys Genre: Third-Person Action 2 Days to Vegas is a story driven third-person action-adventure game. This contemporary gangster title features car chases, shootouts, and unexpected twists to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the game. The action is set in several major cities across the US and takes place during a 48-hour period. Alan Wake Publisher: TBD Developer: Remedy Genre: Action From Remedy, the makers of Max Payne, comes this psychological action thriller for next-gen consoles and future-spec PC systems. The game is currently without a publisher, and it's strange Rockstar hasn't picked it up. Maybe they passed on it. Either way, the game features the massive open city of Pride Falls, offering the free flowing simulation of town life, excellent draw distances, lighting, physics, and special effects. Amped 3 Publisher: 2K Games Developer: TBD Genre: Action-Sports 2K Games brings back the highly-loved snowboarding simulation exclusively for Xbox 360. A high contrast from EA's SSX, Amped is an entirely different beast. The game is huge, with mountains being four times bigger than anything on Amped 2. You'll experience tons of customization, a neat look at the lifestyle of the average snowboarder, and more. APB Publisher: ?? Developer: ?? Genre: ?? Avalon Publisher: TBD Developer: Climax Studios Genre: Action Announced as a concept game without a publisher, Avalon is a multi-vehicle shooter designed for Xbox 360. It enables players to engage in a substantial single-player game and a hefty 100-person online arena. Could be great, but we've love to see it before jumping to any conclusions. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat Publisher: Electronic Arts Developer: Digital Illusions CE Genre: Shooter Not announced among the six EA Xbox 360 launch titles (for an unknown reason), Battlefield 2 should take the current generation versions and add a little bit of everything to it. We'll have more on this exceptional sequel to the original classic soon. Blue Dragon Publisher: Microsoft Developer: Mistwalker Genre: RPG The first of two epic RPG projects for Microsoft by Mistwalker, Blue Dragon is created by the studio founded by Square-Enix's Hironobu Sakaguchi. Featuring characters by designer Akira Toriyama, and telling the story of a young boy named Shu who has special adventure with his two friends and a mythical blue dragon, this collaboration of two great but very different Japanese creators ought to be very interesting. Call of Duty 2 Publisher: Activision Developer: Infinity Ward Genre: First-Person Shooter A version of the upcoming PC title (and not related to Call of Duty: The Big Red One, due on Xbox 1 and PS2), Call of Duty 2 enables players to experience four individual soldier stories as they overcome insurmountable odds in multiple campaigns. The game is frenetic, intense, and nerve-shattering. Players have the freedom to follow each of the four storylines through for the ultimate character-driven experience, or they can engage in the historic battles chronologically for quick hitting action. Along with the new missions, the game features an enhanced engine, advanced AI, and even more authenticity than before. It should be a rocking 360 title. Chrome Hounds Publisher: SEGA Developer: From Software Genre: Action A mech-based action game, in development by Japanese studio From Software, the "mech-master" of the Armored Core series. Chrome Hounds promises full-on mech action with Xbox Live Online play, team play team, and a wealth of options to customize and improve your mech as you progress. Condemned Publisher: SEGA Developer: Monolith Productions Genre: Action-Adventure A demented horror game from Sega and Monolith, and designed for next-generation consoles , Condemned is a different direction for the normally FPS-based Monolith. You are an FBI agent on the hunt in this gripping and sickening hunt for serial killers. The game is played in first-person perspective, and with the use of the Havok 3.0 physics engine and other advanced techniques, players can utilize anything in the area as a weapon when they've been cornered by their prey. Prepare for a slow-paced, frightening, and dark adventure. Condor Trilogy Online Publisher: TBD Developer: InterServe International Genre: TBD A mystery of a game at this point, Condor Trilogy Online is the next game from the makers of the multiplayer fighting game, Iron Phoenix. Cthulhu: Destiny's End Publisher: ?? Developer: ?? Genre: ?? Dark Sector Publisher: TBA Developer: Digital Extremes Genre: Action Dark Sector blends finesse and brutality into a fast-action game. It mixes first-person shooter control schemes with a third-person perspective. Your suit can 'morph.' This morphing is central to creating the new possibilities for our combative and non-combative game mechanics. Enemy guard shows off effective, believable facial expressions. The polygon count on each character is incredibly high, and the texture work is gorgeous. The characters move with smooth motion, and the special effects, from the particles, smoke, and fire, are all top-quality. The Darkness Publisher: Majesco Developer: Starbreeze AB Genre: Action Based on the film and comic book about a young assassin who has inherited the power over shadows and other sources of darkness, The Darkness should be very interesting. Developed by the Chronicles of Riddick creators and produced by Majesco, the publisher has released very little on this except the premise. Expect to explore a mafia-filled world in which your dark powers are a major part of the action. Dead Or Alive 4 Publisher: Tecmo Developer: Team Ninja Genre: Fighting The next Dead Or Alive starts off where the last DOA left off. Players engage in a full 3D fighting arena with new characters, fighting styles, environments, and abilities. The 10-minute video is a killer to download but it's worth your while. Check it here. Dead Rising Publisher: Capcom Developer: Capcom Production Studio 1 Genre: Third-Person Action Leave it to Capcom to enter the next generation of gaming with a zombie game. Dead Rising follows the misadventures of a photojournalist who becomes trapped in a shopping mall filled with the undead. He's torn between saving his skin and snapping the unbelievable pictures that could win him a Pulitzer. We had the chance to play this title briefly at E3 and it infuses enough camp into the combat to have us doubled over laughing. Mix this with hundreds upon hundreds of zombies on the screen at once and we might just have ourselves a winner. Demonik Publisher: Majesco Developer: Terminal Reality Genre: Action Developed simultaneously as a feature film and videogame by horror master Clive Barker, Demonik is a third-person action game in which players are placed in the role of the powerful and terrifying villain against the movie's hero, as they wreak havoc using a variety of chilling and awe-inspiring powers and abilities. Dirty Harry Publisher: Warner Bros. Interactive Developer: The Collective Genre: Action Warner Brothers' game is almost assuredly a Western, but is it a first-person shooter, a third-person shooter, a pure action game, or what? All they have said is that it's coming. We do know it's an accumulation of multiple Eastwood movies as the lone drifter, and that quick thinking, brutal, shrewd, and survival tactics, plus dead-eye shooting are planned as part of the gameplay. DOAX2 Publisher: Tecmo Developer: Team Ninja Genre: Sports Tomonobu Itagaki's next work of digital art turns out to be a sequel to the often misunderstood "volleyball" game, Dead Or Alive Volleyball. Announced at E3 2005, Tecmo's game out to bring out the highest quality bodily parts this side of realism. But will it be about volleyball this time? Hm. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Publisher: Bethesda Softworks/ 2K Games Developer: Bethesda Softworks Genre: RPG In development since 2002, Oblivion is another leap forward in role-playing with its combination of freeform gameplay and cutting-edge graphics for the world under The Elder Scrolls. This game was one of the better looking Xbox 360 games at E3 and it promises to delivery a long, satisfying non-linear RPG experiences. Let's hope Bethesda cleans it all up before publishing it. Enchant Arm Publisher: FromSoftware Developer: FromSoftware Genre: RPG Centered on enchant skills, From's battle system enables you to play alone or with Xbox Live buddies, focusing on player abilities and options. Of particular importance to the designers is providing a smooth experience that's free of load times and has a clean user interface behind it. FIFA Soccer 2006 Publisher: Electronic Arts Developer: EA Genre: Sports EA's next-generation soccer game is still very much hidden from the public. We saw it at E3, and they showed very little gameplay, instead focusing on talking about the graphic intensity and next-generation emotional impact. We did get to play a shoot out mini-game, but it didn't tell us whether this was the next revolution in soccer games, or whether it's just another iteration of FIFA. Final Fantasy XI Publisher: Square Electronic Arts Developer: Square Enix Genre: Persistent Online RPG Final Fantasy XI was first released in Japan on PlayStation 2 in 2002. The next year it was ported stateside to the PC, and one year after that it finally appeared on the PS2 through the use of the much maligned hard drive. When Final Fantasy XI celebrates its next release on Xbox 360 the game will utilize Xbox Live services in conjunction with Square Enix's Play Online service to merge PC, PS2, and Xbox 360 players into the same world. Frame City Killer Developer: Namco Publisher: Namco Genre: Action-Adventure Frame City Killer takes place in -- where else? -- Frame City in 2042. A powerful visualization tool called Visual Frame has spread throughout the world like iPod (OK, Namco doesn't actually use "iPod" in the game's story description, but you get the point), allowing just about anything to be put in visual form. Instead of using this power to view naked girls, a group of terrorists working under a ring leader called Khan plan to shock people to death using special visual data called Visual Acid. You play Crow, a special agent in an elite force called SOU. You've been sent to Frame City to assassinate Crow. You'll make use of hand-to-hand combat and guns as you work through action-based stages. This could be interesting, as long as it doesn't overuse the already tired gansta crap theme in videogames these days. Full Auto Publisher: SEGA Developer: Pseudo Interactive Genre: Racing-Action Described by some as Burnout with guns, this racer enables players to blow up nearly everything in the environment, including their rivals. A rewind feature gives players the ability to turn back time in order to correct their driving errors. Full Auto is one of the first 360 games to provide that instant likeability quality, with fast-paced driving, the ability to blow everything to bits, and, and very pretty graphics. This is sure to be a first-wave hit, but we wonder how deep it will actually be? Gears of War Publisher: Microsoft Developer: Epic Games Genre: Third-person shooter Built on UnrealEngine3.technology, this is the game that was featured in numerous Unreal Engine technical demos, and finally revealed as an Xbox 360 game at E3. With the most striking next-gen graphics we've seen yet, this game has some eye-popping potential, while mixing squad-based shooting tactics and survival horror scenarios. Easily the best potential Xbox 360 game of the lot. Ghost Recon 3 Publisher: Ubisoft Developer: Ubisoft Genre: Shooter The third in the team-based outdoor military first-person shooter, Ghost Recon 3 brings the Clancy squad back to urban environments, this time in Mexico City, displaying an enormous jump in graphic quality and believability. Ubisoft has created what it calls the "Cross-Com," a communication device powered by satellite technologies. Attached to the monocle of a soldier, the Cross-Com enables your soldier and you full situational awareness and command of the battlefield. Players can command Ghost squads, remote allied forces, and drones, and they can call in artillery and air strikes for heavier, more visually impressive destruction. The Godfather Publisher: Electronic Arts Developer: Electronic Arts Genre: Action-Adventure The book by Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola's classic film serve as dual inspirations for Electronic Arts' action/adventure The Godfather. In it, gamers can join the Corleone family to exploit loyalties and fear as they rise through the ranks to become Don in 20th century New York City. Carry out orders, earn respect, and make the Big Apple all your own. Featuring non-linear gameplay, The Godfather provides players with countless choices for solving family problems with brutal violence, skillful diplomacy, or a cunning mixture of both. From mob hits and bank heists to drive-bys and extortion, step deep inside a world where intimidation and negotiation are your tickets to the top. Gun Publisher: Activision Developer: Neversoft Genre: Third-Person Shooter Neversoft's first non-Tony Hawk game in the last five years, Gun is an original Western shooter due to hit Xbox, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, and PC this fall. Expect to see a highly polished shooter (first- and third-person perspectives) with a healthy story and lots of violence, gore, and hard-hitting gun-fighting. Halo 3 Publisher: Microsoft Developer: Bungie Genre: Shooter We could speculate all day on this one, but we can officially tell you these facts: In development with Bungie, Halo 3 is in the works for Xbox 360. it's scheduled to ship day and date with the release of PlayStation 3 in North America, a fact from Mr. Gates himself felt obligated to share. It is the third game in the trilogy, thus Master Chief will be in it, as will Cortana, Guilty Spark, and the Covenant among others. We suspect all the additions made in Halo 2 will appear in Halo 3 -- a healthy single-player game, bolstered by a massive multiplayer Xbox Live component, plus tons of changes, alterations, and improvements. If Perfect Dark Zero will have 50-person multiplayer games, will Halo 3 have more? This one exists, and it's coming next year. Indiana Jones Publisher: LucasArts Developer: LucasArts Genre: Action-Adventure We don't know a whole lot about this game other than it is slated to be released on next-generation consoles some time in 2007. All we know about this new adventure is that LucasArts promises it will be Indy's "most epic adventure yet," featuring "a noticeable evolution in physics and artificial intelligence." Kameo: Elements of Power Publisher: Microsoft Developer: Rare Genre: Platformer Blending the heady thrills of exploration and puzzle-solving with the adrenaline rush of realtime 3D battles, Kameo: Elements of Power is an ambitious title from the makers of GoldenEye and Banjo-Kazooie. The concept mixes combat action with creature transformations, letting the title's female star to morph into monsters to use their special powers against enemies and to solve puzzles. Originally scheduled for release on Xbox in 2003 (after the GameCube version was cancelled), Kameo for Xbox was re-scheduled as an Xbox 360 title in mid-summer 2004. King Kong Publisher: Ubisoft Developer: Ubisoft France Genre: Action-Shooter Working very closely with Peter Jackson and Wingnut Films, Ubisoft's Montpellier studio (Beyond Good & Evil, Rayman) and its Montreal studio (Splinter Cell) are together creating a game that will reflect the visual interpretation, character dynamics, and dramatic narrative of Jackson's epic take on the classic King Kong story. When playing as a human the game's a first-person shooter, but when played as King Kong himself, it's a third-person action game. Very pretty, and surprisingly good for a game based on a movie. Ubisoft looks like it's getting this one right. Lost Odyssey Publisher: Microsoft Developer: Mistwalker The second of two epic RPG projects for Microsoft by Mistwalker, Lost Odyssey is created by the studio founded by Square-Enix's Hironobu Sakaguchi. You play as Kaim, a man who's been sentenced to live for 1,000 years. The game's storyline takes you through Kaim's life as he experiences multiple generations, becomes a part of many families, falls in and out of love, and gets into conflicts. All this is set in a world that is on the verge of a "mystical industrial revolution," where mankind has attained dark powers. Final Fantasy-esque, damn pretty, and sure to push next-generation of graphics. Not a launch title, Lost Odyssey is most likely coming out in 2006. Madden NFL 2006 Publisher: Electronic Arts Developer: Tiburon Genre: Sports The next installment of the wildly popular Madden series will land on the Xbox 360 this fall as a launch title. The trailer that played during the NFL draft exhibited some high quality graphics that may be indicative of the in-game engine, but for the most part EA is holding back major details. Expect better looking everything, more realism, TV-quality presentation, and a suite of new gameplay features. NBA 2K6 Publisher: 2K Games Developer: Visual Concepts Genre: Sports The development team from the NFL 2K series combined with the NBA team to work on their next best thing. Shifting its focus from football to basketball, Visual Concepts' early demo showed impressive motion-capture work, fluid animations, and excellent early tech savvy. NBA Live 2006 Publisher: Electronic Arts Developer: EA Genre: Sports EA's longstanding basketball sim is rearing for its annual comeback, this time replete with new features, star characters, better visuals, control, and the classic EA presentation style. Need for Speed: Most Wanted Publisher: Electronic Arts Developer: EA Canada Genre: Racing The new speedster in EA's successful series combines the tuner customization of Need for Speed Underground with an expanded take on the police chases of the Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit series. The game will feature a Rap Sheet option that works hand in hand with a player's street reputation as they move up from the "Black List" to the A-List. Users will also be able to go head-to-head with their opponents while simultaneously trying to avoid more than six different police cars at once through a dynamically changing open-ended world. Get your car peaked for outrunning the pigs by customizing your muscle cars, supercars, tuners, and sports cars. NHL 2K6 Publisher: 2K Games Developer: Visual Concepts/Kush Games Genre: Sports Visual Concepts might not officially be talking about a football game yet, but it's officially talking about a hockey game. Featuring on-the-fly coaching, Hundreds of completely new NHL quality animations, franchise features, and a healthy online component. Ninety-Nine Nights Publisher: Microsoft Developer: Q Entertainment Genre: Action Imagine Dynasty Warriors but with no fog, no visual barricades, perfect image quality, and hundreds of detailed enemies on-screen simultaneously. Now picture that running at 60 frames per second -- that's Ninety Nine Nights. One jaw-dropping scene in the trailer showed an explosion, with hundreds of characters being smoothly tossed into the air. Judging by the trailer, the feel of a massive battle will be perfectly captured in Ninety Nine Nights. But we wonder given Mizuguchi's love for dancing games and psychedelic shooters, will we get secret mini-dancing games with enemy fighters, or psychedelic conversations with sexy TV reporters? Ninja Gaiden 2 Publisher: Tecmo Developer: Team Ninja Genre: Action Taking the high-intensity action fro the Xbox exclusive, Ninja Gaiden, Team Ninja is at work on the sequel forwell, hopefully, the Xbox 360. At E3, Itagaki said that it's not guaranteed for the Xbox 360, which means it might come to the PS3. We'll have to see, but you can count on it looking gorgeous either way. The Outfit Publisher: THQ Developer: Relic Genre: Third-Person Action The Outfit enable players to choose from three playable squad leader personalities, each with their own specific skills and abilities. With their squad leaders, players will guide two squads of battle-forged soldiers on missions ranging from reconnaissance-and-rescue to search-and-destroy across immensely destructible battlefields. Players can switch between squads at any time and can strategically use squads separately, in tandem or as one super-unit. By engaging in combat with the enemy, players will earn action points that can be used to upgrade their arsenal, order in tanks and many other vehicles, build machinegun nests and anti-tank emplacements or call for air or artillery strikes. Think of this as Mercenaries for the next generation. Perfect Dark Zero Publisher: Microsoft Developer: Rare Genre: First-Person Shooter The next-generation sequel to Rare's Nintendo 64 hit, Perfect Dark. Now exclusively on Xbox 360, Perfect Dark Zero remains very much a mystery. Yes, it's a first-person shooter starring Joanna Dark. Yes, it's got a multiplayer mode enabling more than 50 people to play simultaneously. And yes, the first screenshots looked unimpressive. So, will Rare get the new beat kits and blow everyone away? Will they deliver PDZ at launch? Will it rock? The E3 demo showed off some good visuals and great game ideas. So, we'll have to wait and see, with our fingers crossed in praying position. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Publisher: Buena Vista Games Developer: Eurocom Genre: Action/Strategy Dead Man's Chest will enable players to take the roles of Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and Elizabeth Swann, all of whom must cross land and sea in search of the legendary Dead Man's Chest. The game will re-create moments from the film, of course, but will also offer new events and locations. Possession Publisher: TBA Developer: Blitz Games Genre: Strategy The creators of Fusion Frenzy are currently working on a zombie strategy game that has players controlling an undead army. As the top dead dude, you spread a hazardous chemical amongst the population to mutate them into soldiers composed of rotting flesh. There are five types of zombies, a city that is 48 square kilometers in size, and an online multiplayer mode planned. So far, Possession is without a publisher but we expect that to change soon. Prey Publisher: 2K Games Developer: Human Head Studios Genre: First-Person Shooter The PC and Xbox 360 first-person shooter, revived from a nearly seven-year death sentence has been resurrected into a completely new game. Built on the Doom 3 engine, the game has some incredible lighting and very original gameplay elements not seen before in a first-person shooter. It gets creative with gravity, portals in space, and some interesting puzzles combining these elements. Project Gotham Racing 3 Publisher: Microsoft Developer: Bizarre Creations Genre: Racing The third edition of the gorgeous and challenging racing series from vets Bizarre Creations. This will most likely be a launch title. We've seen a lot of images of pretty rims and cars in still shots, and a gorgeous video of the game in CG, but where's the beef? Expect a great single-player campaign and an awesome Xbox Live online mode. Quake IV Publisher: Activision Developer: id Software/Raven Software Genre: First-Person Shooter In simultaneously development for PC and Xbox 360, id's Quake IV gleans the single-player aspects of Quake II and the multiplayer aspects from Quake III for an indoor/outdoor game built on the Doom 3 engine. Marines vs. Strogg is the order of the day, with your own lead character getting Strogg-ified in a brutal and gory must-see scene that changes the rest of the game. Expect huge boss enemies and to be able to strap into powerful mech attack vehicles. Id promises a real single-player campaign, and excellent multiplayer action on Xbox Live. Ridge Racer 6 Publisher: Namco Developer: Namco Genre: Racing Namco's flagship racer is trying to make a comeback and if any game is due, the next Ridge Racer is due. Not officially announced, we heard about Ridge Racer 6 (temporary title) months before E3, and then learned it wouldn't be ready to show at E3. So, Namco is expected to eventually release news on this one, but when exactly? We suspect this summer or early fall. Saint's Row Publisher: THQ Developer: Volition Genre: Third-Person Action THQ and Volition's Saint's Row is a third-person action-adventure game stripped right from the heart of Grand Theft Auto territory. The laundry list of things is complete: Open cities, multiple storylines, on-foot and in-car action, plus Havok physics and online play. If it try for a little more originality, this me-too action game could hold it own in the long-run. Top Spin 2 Publisher: 2K Games Developer: Indie Built and PAM (Power and Magic) Development Genre: Sports Filled with incredibly small and impressive details -- from the zipper on players' shirts to single strands of hair, Top Spin 2 should delight tennis fans to no end. And apparently, Sharapova's fully rendered nipples are well, amazingly detailed as well. Eh-hem. Should be a great game to watch and play. True Crime Streets of HK Publisher: ?? Developer: ?? Genre: ?? Turok Next Publisher: Buena Vista Games Developer: Propaganda Games Genre: Shooter So, Buena Vista has the chutzpa to resurrect a once-beloved franchise? OK, fine. Unreal Tournament 2007 Publisher: Midway Developer: Epic Genre: First-Person Shooter The fourth in the series is the first UT on Xbox 360. .Levi. Geplaatst: 1 juli 2005 Rapport Geplaatst: 1 juli 2005 Hey iedereen. Klik. Reageren
Mazzeltje Geplaatst: 3 augustus 2005 Rapport Geplaatst: 3 augustus 2005 De X-box360 is iets waar heel veel mensen nu over praten. Daarom pin ik dit topic vast. En nu maar hopen dat er lekker veel mensen gaan posten in dit topic. Aangezien ik niet echt een X-Box fan ben post ik hier vast niet zo vaak. Reageren
